What is going on with Texas? An Islamic tribunal was recently set up in Dallas and now the Dallas Morning News comes along and does a Muslim suck-up piece? Have all the loony liberals moved to Texas??? Or have the natives lost their mind??
In today’s edition, writer Peter Manseau frets that anti-Islam sentiment is making a comeback. (I never knew it subsided) In his piece titled “The Muslims of Early America” he points to the backlash brought on because an imam delivered the prayer at Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo earlier this year. Here is an excerpt from the article:
Vocal anti-Islamic sentiment is undergoing a revival. (Good! I’m glad it is. Islam is satanic and blasphemous!) Four days before the imam’s canceled benediction, protesters at the Capitol in Austin shouted down Muslim speakers, claiming Texas in the name of Jesus alone. In North Carolina two weeks earlier, Duke University’s plan to broadcast a Muslim call to prayer was abandoned amid threats of violence. Meanwhile Louisiana’s Republican governor, Bobby Jindal, claimed that if American Muslims “want to set up their own culture and values, that’s not immigration, that’s really invasion.”
Bobby Jindal is absolutely correct! And he is a man who came from a totally different culture and religion who came here and assimilated. He did not try to make America a Hindu nation, unlike the Muslims who are trying to force Islam upon Americans by their incessant whining. They do like to make spectacles of themselves.
Texas, come on! Do you not remember the Holy Land Foundation trial? The largest terrorism financing trial in American history? Do you not remember the damning document found and entered into evidence? This is the infamous Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Muslim Brotherhood in North America:
The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Proecess” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.
Mr. Manseau needs to quit consulting the old, tired template that states that people are racist Islamaphobes (what race is Islam?) and look at why they are opposed to Islam. Like its barbaric treatment of women. Islamic men regularly throw acid in the face of their women. Is this treating women like jewels????
Did Manseu ever think that the beheading of a woman in Oklahoma by a Muslim might have contributed just a little bit to Islam’s bad reputation with Americans? Eh? Ya think!
The first wave of Muslim immigrants did not begin until well after the Civil War, and the first mosque was not built until 1915. In spite of these facts, Manseeau closes by saying the following that seems to echo Obama when he said that “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding.”:
Islam is part of our common history — a resilient faith not just of the enslaved, but of Arab immigrants in the late 19th century, and in the 20th century of many African-Americans reclaiming and remaking it as their own. For generations, its adherents have straddled a nation that jolts from promises of religious freedom to events that give the lie to those promises.
In a sense, Islam is as American as the rodeo. It, too, was imported but is now undeniably part of the culture. Whether protesters in Texas and elsewhere are ready for it, it is inevitable that some Muslims will let their babies grow up to be cowboys. A few cowboys may grow up to be Muslims as well.
Looks like some people in Texas want it to be the Texas Republic of Islam. Meanwhile, there are more patriotic Texans whom we hope will keep on being vocal about the evils of Islam.
Until next time,
