Creeping Sharia reports that all automakers have now dropped from Al Gore’s al Jazeera as have Heineken USA, Allstate, and Devry University. Apparently, Dodge, Scion, Fiat, Land Rover and Kia stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America after several rounds of communications from Florida Family Association. FFA had sent e-mails to top officials at all five automakers since January 16, 2013. At first, the advertisers were not paying attention; however FFA sent out the following e-mail to three of the five automakers that stated in part:
It is rare for us to extend a warning to an advertiser. However, your company has for the most part been very responsive to our concerns over the past twenty-five years. However, given the frequency of advertisements on this channel, your company and local dealerships may be profiled by Florida Family Association and about a dozen other activist groups on or after the week of February 18th (or 25th).
One of the advertisers did answer back to say that they had already committed to advertising through June 2013. Here is the reply that FFA gave to them:
Most of the American public will find your position indefensible. Many consumers will see that your company does not have any problem with supporting this channel that stands for radical Islamists. When your company arrives as the top advertiser on Al Jazeera America, Florida Family Association will report it as such and continue to do so for as long as the company advertises. That should occur as early as the week of February 25, 2013.
As a result, all five automakers have not advertised on al Jazeera since February 24, 2013.
Consider this: Al Jazeera America is the new, tentative name for Current TV. Al Jazeera is the mouthpiece for the Muslim Brotherhood and Arab Spring. The Muslim Brotherhood is the single largest promoter of the radical Islamist movement in the world.
If you would like to send an email thanking the appropriate official at all five automakers for discontinuing their advertising on the Al Jazeera America channel please click here. (We believe it is always a good thing to recognize people for doing the right thing, since it is a rare occurrence any more).
Please, it won’t take but just a few seconds to send these e-mails. One person can do a lot. If everyone does a little, we can accomplish a lot.
Until next time,
