Going To Heaven (Islamic Style)

Fellow infidels,

How do the three major monotheistic religions compare in terms of requirements for going to Heaven?  That is the subject of Constantine’s blog – Burkasrugly

The three great monotheistic religions are Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Judaism is the oldest of these religions, while Islam is the newest . Islam comes
almost 600 years after the founding of Christianity. And it is the newest of all
the worlds religions. All three of these religions believe in afterlife for their
devotees.

For Jews heaven is gained by following the Torah (Jewish Law) and the prophets. The Torah is a grand exposition upon the Ten Commandments. The Jewish prophets flesh out the ethical demands of the Mosaic Law. If you are faithful to these two interwoven traditions you will go to heaven.

Christianity takes a little bit of a different path to heaven. Jesus is viewed as the
fulfillment of the Law and prophetic tradition. Faith in Jesus gains Christians entrance into heaven. Most Christians believe that none of us are good enough to go to heaven on our merits. We believe in the grace (unmerited favor) of a loving God is necessary for us to access heaven.

In Islam there is only one sure fire route to heaven or Paradise. You must engage in Jihad or enable others to do so. It is only by becoming a Jihadist that entry into Paradise is guaranteed.

Killing is required to enter Islamic paradise. Kill the Jews and the Christians! Kill the apostates! Kill the blasphemers!  Kill! Kill! Kill!  Kill yourself by strapping on a bomb in the very act of murdering others.

The central tenet of the Judeo-Christian tradition is the sanctity of human life.  Both Judaism and Christianity live by the rule, “Do unto others as you would have others do to you.”  Unfortunately, Islam has never had a Golden Rule and never will.  Radical, militant Islam believes fervently in the sanctity of death.  The certain way to Islamic heaven is by death in Jihad.  Islam stands in stark  opposition to the compassion of the Judeo-Christian ethic.

In hoc signo,

Constantine
