Anjem Choudary, the radical British Muslim who is urging Muslims to march on the White House to demand that Sharia Law be implemented in America, is seen as a joke in Great Britain. His only redeeming quality, if it can be described as such, is that he keeps the British tabloids supplied with material for stories.
Now he wants to march on the White House with other Muslims on Thursday to demand that the United States trash the U.S. Constitution and replace it with Sharia Law. I am going to post a Pat Condell video again because I think you will appreciate what he says about Choudary’s latest stunt.
Congresswoman Sue Myrick of North Carolina has written a letter asking the U.S. State Department and Department of Homeland Security to deny Choudary and his associates, Abu Izzadeen and Sayful Islam, entry into the country because of their support of terrorism. Thank you Congresswoman Myrick.
Choudary’s organization, Sharia4America, was outlawed in Great Britain. You will see lots of interesting things on the organization’s website. For example, there is a post titled “Do Not Obey the Law of the Land.” The author goes on to say that it is a misconception amongst Muslims that they are obliged to obey the law of the land in whatever country they reside. This is the arrogance of radical Muslims in full display. They think they are above the law.
Of course, if these three extremists are allowed into our country, maybe we can view it in a positive light. If enough people find out what they are up to, the counterprotest of Americans who are dead set against Sharia Law would overwhelm Choudary and his radical posse.
Make no mistake – Choudary is a buffoon, but his message is evil and dangerous. There are radicals who are more dangerous than Choudary who are very capable of wreaking havoc around the world. We should all be aware of radical Islamic activity like this, and we should remember to let our representatives in Washington know that we expect them to protect us from these threats. This is the United States, and ALL of Washington should reaffirm that we are a free country and that the U.S. Constitution is the law of the land…period.
Until next time,
